Blogger’s note: This book is classified with numerous trigger warnings, so have that in mind. In the end, I didn’t feel it was as “traumatizing” as I thought, but that’s because I’m used to reading this kind of genre. Nonetheless, it left me feeling empty and filled with sadness. “Why?” Because the characters go through a lot—things none of us would want to experience, specifically one of them.
